Matthew 18:35 KJV
[35] So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
For the past couple of weeks I’ve changed the outline/format of my prayers. Yes, I did ask for forgiveness of sins everyday I prayed, but now I just don’t do that. This is one of the revelations I caught after hearing Bro. Dominic Appiah-Ofori weeks ago.
Now, I always ensure I’ve released forgiveness to others before I ever ask for forgiveness from God. It puts me on a deliberate process of identifying those who have offended me, knowingly or unknowingly, and forgiving them intentionally. Only after then, can I can ask Papa to do same to me.
Jesus’s popular parable of the unforgiving/unmerciful servant is very instructive. We are quick to think this servant was wicked, but we easily do same on the daily. We are unable to forgive a hundred but request to be forgiven a thousand.

In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus clearly teaches that forgiveness can only come after you’ve forgiven others. Forgive freely, easily and quickly so multiple folds of that would be rendered unto you by our Heavenly Father.
Have a blessed day. #CarllyDevotionals
