In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

The last time I faced a major crisis, probably one of the hardest hit I had ever taken in my life, I went on my knees in that same hour and kept asking God why. In fact, I poured out a lot in prayer because I just couldn’t understand why.

Reading Job’s account yet again, brings back that memory and also leaves me with wondering if I was matured at that time. By comparison, by darkest hour was no where near Job’s

Here was a man who lost all: biological children (family) and possessions (property) in a single wave of attack by satan in a single day.
Who survives this in the first place?
Who is able to say in such a moment that, “the LORD gives and takes, blessed be HIS name?” Seriously???

I pray that the Lord will bless us with the spiritual muscles 💪🏿 of Job, so we can look adversity in the face and say “blessed be the Name of the Lord.” The calmness to sin not and charge God foolishly. Amen.
