PARENT’S GRAPES, CHILDREN’S TEETH – Wed, Oct 30, 2018

Ezekiel 18:20,32 KJV

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

[32] For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God : wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Sometimes when I watch the History Channel on BBC and see some of the things Hitler and his generals did, I wonder what his “enemies” actually did to him to merit such response from the fuhrer.

The kind of things you see, portrays a hatred and anger that is so deep seethed, which was meted out to so many people who had nothing to do with it.
Christians sometimes feel like this when things happen to us.

We are told that what we suffer is probably a result of some sins of our parents or their parents through some blood covenants. True as this may be, God Himself too spoke through both Prophets Ezekiel and Jeremiah. The children’s teeth won’t be set on edge jut because their parents are sour grapes.

Take God by His Word, you won’t die for the wrongs of others, neither should other die for your wrongs. Above all, His desire is for you to live, and to live eternally. Shake off the old and embrace the new. Your soul belongs to Him.

Have a blessed day.
