Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Recently, I got a distress text message from a very good friend of mine. He was planning to do something very terrible to himself because he felt he was in a ‘ditch’ he couldn’t come out of.

Even for someone like him, who was that smart and articulate, one would have thought he should be able to sail the storms easily, even in hard times. But it wasn’t so, he had lost all hope and was ready to call it quit.

Ezekiel’s spiritual experience in the valley of dry bones offers enormous hope for all who are in a state of dryness and have nothing to hold on to. Yes, we may be in hard economic times, but His Word too is true: “I the LORD have spoken it and performed it.”

God is opening graves, causing us to come out and bringing us into a state of abundance (v12-13). Only believe and receive this in your spirit and watch the performance.
