Joshua 4:14 KJV
On that day the Lord magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.

All the original jews who moved out of Egypt and crossed the red sea had died, of course except Joshua n Caleb. The new generations had only heard the stories of the red sea and how it parted.

So God replicated the feat, dis time thru Joshua on the Jordan River so dat dat same respect they accorded Moses (which was very necessary) would be given to Joshua.

Sometimes we wonder if we’ll ever be able to fit in the shoes of someone we just succeeded. I experienced same before I took de role I play now in my office…but God is God and He works these things in us so pple will know it’s all abt Him and not man.

Whatever leadership role is being confered on u, u myt want to stop the excuses and pray abt it instead. He’s usually empowered u just like ur predecessor to even do more.
