Acts 15:25-26 KJV
It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

[26] Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

One of the things I learned while working in a PR firm some years ago was how important it was to set the records straight, especially when there’s already some information out there to harm an organization’s reputation.

Indeed, some companies pay a lot for Reputation Management and would require PR agencies to be their watchdogs in media houses too, so that negative news about their business doesn’t blow out of proportion or even get published at all.

The early Christians also thought it wise to set the records straight, when they got to know some men from Judea had misrepresented them. (Reference They distanced themselves from the earlier claims and put out the names of their assigned spokespersons.

Be meek, be humble, but also learn to set the records straight when very necessary. Your reputation matters as a believer, you may need to open up sometimes and declare your stand on certain issues when it really matters.

Have a blessed Friday. #CarllyDevotionals
