Matthew 18:14 KJV
[14] Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
I had a cousin and friend who recently passed on. When news of his demise came to me, I realized I wasn’t remorseful. In fact, I knew I had seen it coming, so I even remember murmuring something to suggest he was already a dead man walking.
But later in that week, I started asking myself what good I had done to help that “deviant” apart from giving him handouts whenever and wherever we met? Then the reality hit me, that I had glaringly looked on, without an effort, not once could I recall, that I ever thought of his soul.
Many are like me in some respect. Because we saw the path a few loose canons took, we easily dismiss them and allow them to suffer their fate for their waywardness. This is not godly!!!

Jesus’s parables about the lost sheep, lost coin and lost son all point to one thing; He never gives up on a “dying soul” and so should we. Our call is to rescue the perishing and care for the dying, just as He did, especially those within our reach.
Have a blessed day. #CarllyDevotionals
