Matthew 15:23 KJV
[23] But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
In the Ga community where I grew up in Osu, when you hear someone say, “eshããã gbuu ewooo bo,” it simply means, whatever you said to that friend never went into his ears.
But sometimes, it’s not just about what it means, but the way it is said… in that disrespectful way to suggest that you are not being listened to, and what you are saying is of no value whatsoever. Indeed, that phrase is a weapon on its own, can sound very mean.
I can imagine how the Canaanite woman felt when Jesus completely ignored her and her request. Jesus’s disciples were even colder, they just wanted her off their backs.
But she had the currency to buy what she wanted and she did!!!

Where we come from may limit our access to certain things spiritually, but one thing that is not bounded by ethnicity, race or age is FAITH.
Faith is our currency as believers and the Lord calls on us to use it to buy us out of all dire situations. Walk by faith, not by what you see.
Have a blessed day. #CarllyDevotionals
