Acts 8:34-35 KJV
[34] And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

[35] Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

One common characteristic of most successful entrepreneurs is their ability to identify opportunities and grab them. Where other challenges, they see these opportunities and make the most of them.

In our neighbourhoods, we’ve seen people make it through the provision of basic services, like water, groceries, etc. One or two people only made the request and their entrepreneurial drive just kicked in.

Believers, like Philip the Apostle, did not take chances too. Once the Ethiopian Eunuch asked a question, probably a question he had been waiting for, he wasted no time to minister Christ to him, in a one-on-one encounter. He simply made no excuses!

So excuses like, “I’m a shy person; I don’t know how to speak in public; mine is not evangelism…” all fail to hold water in the face of Philip’s example. Never fail to seize the opportunity to minister Christ, who knows, you may be there for that singular purpose.
