Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

You know that feeling when you’re so prepared for an exam and just hope that a particular question drops so you can pour out all you’ve learnt or memorized?

That’s the feeling I remember when a question was asked about the Fante Confederation while writing the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (B.E.C.E) years ago. Mehnnn I just wanted the question in Section B / Essay Section. There was no stopping me!!!

Before the Sanhedrin, Peter and John were asked where their Power to heal a crippled man came from. I can imagine the adrenaline that kicked. They could not be stopped in their stride, the answers kept flowing and flowing.

The Spirit of God that works in you also requires you to study to show yourself approved of God, (2 Tim 2:15) so you may know what you ought to say (Luke 12:12) when the need be. Don’t be spoon-fed all the time, make time for His Word to grow spiritually.
