Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

[7] After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.

Just a couple of days ago the president eased restrictions he had put on social gatherings in the country, to control the spread of the Corona Virus. Monitoring media reports, I realised some people were excited about the News.

One group, however, issued a press release just yesterday, stating cogent reasons why they would rather stay home and continue with their virtual worship at least for sometime. I found their reasons very thought-provoking!

Paul and his crew felt the need to preach in portions of Asia at the time, but on two consecutive occasions, the Holy Ghost prevented them from doing so. Was it bad to preach the Gospel? Absolutely not! Was the time right? Definitely not! So the crew had to defer their intentions for another day, I guess.

By all means do the work your Father in heaven has called you to do, but He also expects that you follow the lead of His Spirit and ALSO apply the Wisdom He has gifted you with. Let’s be more circumspect as Believers and redeem the time.
