Ezekiel 33:11 KJV

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

On many platforms, I’ve seen people ask a lot of comments that question the love of Father. Many have a picture of God as the one who takes delight in executing judgement on people and only waiting for us to fall, so he can punish.

It reminds me of the feeling we had as students, about some of our teachers or lecturers. We always thought they took delight in marking us wrong, so they could whip or cane us. Come to think of it, some of them had a reputation for lashing 😅.

Fortunately, this is no where near the Father’s love. His desire in not for any to perish at all! He made this statement to His prophet, Ezekiel, so the people could know that for a fact. “Say unto them, as I live…”
This is why he made Ezekiel, and by extension, you and I, watchmen over the souls of men, in this field of souls.

Our will to save souls is in His divine Will and that makes us His partners. This is one of our cardinal mandates as believers. Help save a soul, help save a soul, help save a soul. He needs the souls to live. Knowing this is not enough, do something about it!
