Ezekiel 32:19,21 KJV
Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
[21] The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Last Sunday in church, the scripture readings focused on the afterlife, a concept that has many variations among various christian groupings or denominations.
There are still many out there today who do not believe life transcends the physical one we have. Our priest used an analogy of babies in a womb who never knew life could exist outside the womb, to explain the afterlife. Of course, life on earth is better and longer than life in the womb, and same is true of the afterlife compared to life on earth.
In Ezekiel 32, the Prophet Ezekiel declared a prophecy over Egypt. He saw many souls languishing in the various regions of worlds beneath: Sheol, the Pit, Hell, Gehana, Hades; a study into these could be done another day.
Life doesn’t just end here on earth. Many Christian believe this but do not live in a way that suggests they do. There is a place to go after here, which life has no end. We shall live billions and billions of years after here, so it is wise to choose wisely where you end up.
Have a blessed day.
