Psalm 89:47-48 KJV
Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
[48] What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
I know one priest who’d often say if you don’t want to die don’t get born.
Yesterday, while I was returning home, my ride partner told me a story of a very young boy who fell in a well and died. Apparently, this boy was about to be adopted by her father, as the brother she never had.
As we re-counted probably what were the last few minutes of the boy drowning, I could literally feel his pain… I’ve been near that situation.
Most people have had terrible similar experiences or may have witnessed death firsthand. We witness how fickle life can be.
Jesus offers a very cool insurance against this erratic tendencies of life. You don’t need to lose out twice when once is enough. Choosing Him means whatever life presents, we are still guaranteed a better place. Applications are still open, make the move now.
Have a blessed day.
