Psalm 85:2 KJV
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
I have been following a series of messages on a particular radio station all of last week. The preacher’s main theme was FAITH. He made some very important revelations that bears some connection with our verse for today that I’d like us to consider.
Most of the people God used before our time were not very clean people: You can begin from Noah, to Abraham, to Moses to Rahab to David, etc. Yet all these find their names in Faith’s hall of fame. Perhaps you are more righteous in your deeds than some of these.
One of the key things your faith in God does is to cover ALL your sins. No wonder some of the names above still popped up. Their faith put them in a different level altogether. You couldn’t judge them anymore by their past evils. All were covered!
Don’t make the mistake of thinking you are better off without God, probably because you have seen those who call themselves Christians fall/sin a number of times. This is a deception of the devil to keep you away from God. Faith operates illogically. Seek God and forsake all others.
Have a blessed day. #TGIF
