Psalm 57:6 KJV
They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
This chapter of Psalms is one of the many David wrote well before he became king. For the fugitive that he was, he found himself hiding in caves and strongholds from time to time.
So clearly David could personally testify of the protection of God each day. He knew it was no cliché, but very real, especially since we had established a few days ago that he had a number of snitches/informants working against him in his own camp.
You may not see it for what it is, but the forces of heaven actually protect us daily. If this was not the case, we would have fallen into many more pits than we actually do.
Don’t wait to be in the position of being pursued like David was, to know and believe this. Each day you pray, be careful to thank God for that protection you receive, don’t take this for granted. Just like His Love for you, His protection is priceless!
Have a blessed day. #TGIF
