Psalm 29:3-5 KJV
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
I checked the definition of the word “voice” this morning and found about 11 different meanings from the WordNet Dictionary. One caught my attention:
An advocate who represents someone else’s policy or purpose; for example: “the meeting was attended by voices for all the major organs of government.”
This reminded me of my days as a social worker in an NGO that gave a voice to the marginalized in society.
David focuses Psalm 29 on the VOICE OF THE LORD. He lists a few of the powerful effects of the VOICE on nature and the elements. If His VOICE can move the uncontrollable, then you can guess what it can do for you.
I pray the VOICE of the Lord will come through for you in these hard times. May that VOICE open and secure opportunities for growth and re-establish your glory to rightful place. May His VOICE speak on your behalf.
Have a blessed day.
