Esther 9:3-4 KJV

And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.

[4] For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.

This year has been one of the toughest for me in my professional career. Usually, I see ups and downs each year… but this year’s downtime has been awfully long. And as expected, the downtime comes with a lot of pressure and stress.

When I meditated on the account of Mordecai and looked at the verses above, i.e. v3-4, it gave me a lot of hope and comfort.
Here was a man who got marked for death simply because another man despised him.

When God stood in for him, those who arranged his death were the same people who suggested his promotion, even without knowing it. So that the man on death row became the prime minister, by divine interventions. He could only wax greater and greater (v4).

There is nothing new under the sun. What you may be going through now may be tough, but it won’t last forever. The time would come when the story would change because an angel WILL visit and the effect of the divine will be felt in your life.
