2 Chronicles 19:2 KJV
And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord ? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord.
As a believer, you may still have to be mindful of whose campaign you fuel or which cause you support with your resources.
Once you subscribe to the truth that all you have is a blessing from Yahweh, then you need to be mindful of whom/what you channel them to for support. God made this point clearly to Jehoshaphat through Hanani the seer/prophet.
Jehoshaphat was a king who loved the Lord. Judah saw prosperity in his days, yet he helped Ahab, the wicked king of Israel in battle and the Lord didn’t take kindly to that. Though God loved him, he never approved his relationship or dealings with Ahab. He almost lost his life as a result.
God’s cover of protection over you is not greater than His Word. You expose yourself to danger when you wrongly affiliate with those He deems unfit, so seek His opinion at all times.
Have a blessed day.
