1 Kings 5:1 KJV
And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.
When you listen to the stories of most successful people, you’d always find that one ally they had somewhere who made doors open when they needed it the most.
These may neither be their regular buddies nor “divine connectors” as many have come to call them. No, these are allies who spring up to achieve a single important purpose in your life.
In Solomon’s case, this ally was Hiram, the King Tyre. I’d even dare to say that Hiram built the famous Temple in Jerusalem. He wasn’t Solomon’s, Hiram was a friend of David and he loved the former king well enough to make his son’s requests good.
May God release and reintroduce allies of our predecessors into our lives so we can fall on their experiences and resources to achieve specific purposes He has for us. And may we have the eyes to see these ones when they show up in our lives. Amen!
Have a blessed day.
