1 Kings 10:4-5 KJV

And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

[5] And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord ; there was no more spirit in her.

I once visited a friend’s church. He had invited me to a programme that was going on for a number of days. I couldn’t help but notice how orderly things were done.

In my own church, I know there is a lot of order. But what I came to see at my friend’s was at another level. “Perhaps, it was a special occasion,” I thought to myself.

The Queen of Sheba could not contain herself when she had an experience in the courts of Solomon. I can imagine her reaction, because there was no social media to give her heads up even before she traveled there. Orderliness, in some cases, may be an indicator of God’s presence.

Even though there is liberty in the presence of God, there is also orderliness. Things MUST be done right!
So start that prayer meeting on time, finish it on time. Don’t say you were led by the Spirit to carry on. Avoid the unnecessary haphazard movements to and fro for no special reasons. Our God is also a God of Order.
