Deuteronomy 5:28-29 KJV

And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

[29] O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!_

Prayer can be as basic as just speaking to a friend on a real issue that is bugging you or an intention you have.

I think one of the main setbacks in our prayer lives is the perception we have of what prayer is or should be. Sometimes we imagine all manner of postures and a certain environment/ambience that must be created first for us to pray.

Even the time of the day and the places we find ourselves are able to prevent us from praying. But when we begin to see prayer as a simple conversation with our Maker, just the way He sees it, we open ourselves to many more opportunities to pray.

The Jews spoke privately with Moses over an issue, but when Moses went to see God on their behalf, He told Moses He had already heard the people’s request. This is deep and tells us God listens even when we’re unaware.
