Numbers 9:16-17 KJV
So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day , and the appearance of fire by night.
[17] And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
What more proof would you have needed if you saw at night, a pillar of fire, and a pillar of cloud during the day, right above your place of worship.
Surely, you wouldn’t take that lightly, would you? You would have believed that God was in such a place if you were told so, and would have conducted yourself well.
What we see has always formed an integral part of what we believe. Yet, the patriarchs of our faith advised against this. We may not need to see first to believe what is. So Jesus would say, blessed are those who haven’t seen and yet believe.
Nonetheless, God’s presence is still made manifest in many things around us today. You may choose whether or not to see them… but just remember that whatever choice you make, has consequences.
Have a blessed day.
