Revelation 7:2-3 KJV
And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
[3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
In my opinion, this scenario bears a lot of resemblance to what happened on that night at Egypt when the door posts of the Jews were marked with blood.. the passover night
That night when God decided to spare some people.
John’s vision of what is yet to come is also spotted with a ‘marked people.’ Unlike that of the passover, this group will include people of all races. That is refreshing news!
No matter how much evil, calamity or chaos will arise, there are and will always be a marked people of God, who will survive to declare his glory. Whatever the economy of any nation, there are and will always be a marked people will not be affected by the figures and indices.
God will mark you for success if only you believe in Him and are willing to to give yourself to Him. Shake yourself out of all the ‘wahala,’ you are already marked. You are in white robes, waving palm fronds (v9).
