2 John 1:10-11 KJV
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
[11] For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
In a time when there is getting increasingly difficult to sieve through the multitude of Christian doctrines that have been propounded and enforced, John the apostle’s words may seem very hard to execute
I remember when I was a very young boy, different gentlemen came to our homes to share the Word with us and teach us some doctrines. We embraced all and never really could tell which doctrine was in tandem with the Word of God.
Resources abound now, so that if you should come to know what is being fed the young ones in your homes, is not godly, the onus lies on you to stop it immediately. John the apostle says that he who bids such a person God speed is a partaker of evil deeds.
Be careful of who you welcome and where you go to be fed with spiritual food. Take care you don’t sow seeds that will bring you a harvest you won’t want.
