And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
Every soul will live forever, every soul once born, can never die. So when John the Apostle says Jesus has promised eternal life, he doesn’t just speak of a life that is unending, he speaks of more!
Eternal life is the very life of Christ, according a message I heard years ago from Pastor Chris Oyakilome. It is a life that is free of all the trouble, sicknesses and issues this world offers.
So in one of Max Lucado’s narrations, he said, ” there’ll be no more aspirin, chemotherapy, etc, etc… Every tear will be wiped away.” This is eternal life! A life we MUST all die for.
It is the promise of the Son that you have eternal life. Don’t trade this for another life elsewhere. Do whatever you need to do to have this life. Talk to your pastor now!
