2 Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
In a time of Lent, a word like this is very much in due season.
Contrary to what some people believe, God does not desire that any of us should perish. Peter, the apostle of God, the buddy buddy of Jesus made this statement, so it must be so!
I make this assertion because the circumstances of life have forced many to make derogatory remarks about their God.
Despite all you go through, the status of your soul is about the most important thing to God.
Physical death is not much of a loss like losing your soul. This is the kind of perishing God doesn’t want for you, and only one thing can can guarantee this… REPENTANCE!!!
Repent now, while you have time.
