And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
[35] But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

When the Sadducees presented Jesus with a difficult trick question on the resurrection, Jesus uses the opportunity to make a powerful exposition on the subject.

So what would be the feeling if you met your spouse in heaven? How would you call him/her? Being spirits, like angels, what would our conversations be like? Would we recall the moments we had on earth and talk about them?

We could go on and ask many more legitimate questions. One thing is certain… that the Resurrection of Life is real. Taking a sadducee-istic stance may not only be disillusional but may limit your appreciation of Life itself

The after-life is real. How we live now could to a large extent determine where we find ourselves here-after. I’m not referring to reincarnation or any other belief system. That would be subject for discussion another day.
