Micah 7:18b KJV

…he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
In my opinion, Mercy is underrated. Even in Christian circles, ‘favour, grace’ among others, are well desired by most believers.
In Micah’s description of God in chapter 7 verse 18 he underlines one attribute of God that has kept you and I alive till date: He doesn’t retain His anger forever. And why is this the case? The answer is simple…
Mercy is his delight. Pondering over texts like these opens me up to let go of those who hurt me and find a place in my heart to pray for God’s mercy for them.
My home got burgled just two days ago, but I’ve found a place in my heart to pray that God may bring the culprits into His wonderful Light.

This is not an easy thing to do but you should do same and show Mercy when the opportunity brings itself.
