LITTLE JUDGES – Thu, Jun 30, 2016

Jonah 3:10 KJV

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
You don’t often see or read about a pagan king heed to the words of a prophet of God like the king of Nineveh did.
Though most of us have read this scripture countless times, we probably never thought of Nineveh as a Assyrian City and so wasn’t anything like the Jewish people. They had their own gods and they did what pleased them like most other pagan nations
So why would God desire repentance from the most unlikely of places? Why the ‘sudden’ interest in Nineveh?

Whatever these reasons may be, God is still God and He does what pleases Him.
It is not your place to condemn what God hasn’t. God would never transfer His responsibility of being a judge to you and I, so let’s refrain from being just that and allow Him to do His work.
Have a blessed day.
