Jonah 1:6 KJV
So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

Jonah’s story, one of the very popular bible stories, bears some similarities with Jesus’s. Both were asleep when their boats were tossing on the tempestuous seas.

At the end of the day, both Jonah and Jesus found a solution to the precarious situation. One spoke to the sea and the other was tossed into it, and yet both yielded similar results; the faith of the onlookers were deepened.

Even in Jonah’s disobedience, he got to minister to pagan sailors about his God and they all vowed to serve Him thereafter. (1:16)

The opportunity to evangelise to someone may present itself at an inopportune time. Perhaps, it may occur to you even in very hostile conditions… but by all means, talk about your God. Your decision to do this brings so much joy to Him and shifts his focus to your other predicaments.
