Joel 2:24-25 KJV
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

[25] And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

One theme that I became very exposed to as a young christian in my Senior High School was that of Restoration. And Joel chapter 2 seemed like a repository of such a theme to us back then.

For any group of people who have been struck by some calamity, mishap, deadly disease or any hard blow, the idea of Restoration is absolutely in good taste.

For the Jews,what was left of their farms by the locust was devoured by the canker worm, what they left was devoured by the caterpillar and what they too left was devoured by the palmer worm. Nothing was left but the rubble! No sign of hope whatsoever remained.

You need God to salvage what is left of your life, i. e. if you haven’t done so. What is more, He even restores all that is lost in the past and ushers you into a garden of Eden, full of hope. Be restored now in Jesus’s Name.
