Joel 3:18, 20-21 KJV
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the Lord , and shall water the valley of Shittim.
But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.
Joel ends with some very good news; Blessings for God’s people.
And rightly so, God’s people always have the last laugh. Even if not here on earth, they always do in the afterlife. I’m too certain of this even though I haven’t been there myself 😊
The Holy City, the New Jerusalem is our ultimate goal in our walk with God. These days, whenever I read about The New Jerusalem from the prophets, I remember Max Lucado’s track “Golden City.”
Find time to listen to it one more time and ponder on the words therein. You’d want to be there as much as I do.
Have a blessed Friday.
