Daniel 2:11-12 KJV
And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

[12] For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

We see in Daniel today another dream interpreter. The last time we read of such a person was in Genesis when Joseph did same for the pharoah.

But what Nebuchadnezzar asked his magicians was more than Pharaoh’s request. Not only did he want an interpretation, but he wanted the dream retold because he didn’t remember. Now that is one difficult task and a seemingly foolish one too.

But even in that, God had a plan, and just like he did in the case of Joseph, He would steal the opportunity to elevate the 4 Hebrew lads who had purposed in their hearts to live for Him.

No matter the situation, those who identify with God always come out tops in the long term. Indeed, material gains may elude them for now but what they stand to gain later is unimaginable, Because the revealer and interpreter of dreams is still in business.
