TYRE – Tue, May 02, 2016

Ezekiel 27:3 KJV
And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God ; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

Port cities are usually very affluent. I remember when I first heard the story of JamesTown from Nii Teiko Tagoe, boss of GAMADA, while I was working with an NGO into community development.

JamesTown used to be so beautiful and wealthy. Nii talked of how everything good abounded there and how much the Town could be compared to any other Port in the world.

But today what do we see?
According to Ezekiel, Tyre/Tyrus, just like JamesTown, fell in glory. The fall was so bad that there was no hope of recovery whatsoever. What is more, Ezekiel gives a revelation about Tyre’s King.

We’ll look into that tomorrow in the next chapter. Meanwhile, enjoy your day and have a blessed new month.
