Jeremiah 24:5-6 KJV
Thus saith the Lord , the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
[6] For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
I was a bit shocked when I came across these words. Till now, I had not read anything of the sort in any of the chapters or books preceding this.
Fast forward this into real-time, it’s as if God told you He was moving you into a very difficult situation just so He could use the opportunity to lift you up and make you a better person.
This is usually not a very pleasant experience and therefore most people would do everything in their power to fight such a move from God should it come their way. This is where most of us have TRUST issues.
Are you truly willing to let God take control of your situation and let go? I don’t refer to self-inflicted torture or difficulty by this. You may have to exercise your senses to an extent to be able discern His hand in such moments.
Have a blessed Friday.
