Jeremiah 22:13 KJV
Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

I know a number of people who are quick to give jobs and tasks to people. In fact,  sometimes, some of them never sit down to look at the implications, they just assign jobs.

When it comes to paying for the job done or giving remuneration, then they begin to think again. They begin to find faults with the job done and give excuses why they need not pay part or all of the agreed sum.

This is not the way of a Christian. Whether those who work for us are Christians or not, we owe them a responsibility of showing them the love of the Father, and that love rewards every work that is done.

Jeremiah said in this chapter that “Woe be to any such man… ” We live pretentious lives if we make all the prayers in church and yet continue in some of these practises. May the Good Lord deliver us.
