EYES OF A MICROSCOPE – Fri, Nov 27, 2015

microscope eyepieceEcclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

The first time I looked into a 🔬 microscope in the school lab, I saw many things I had never seen and never thought were that important. I saw microbes  and other “secret” things my eyes won’t allow me to see ordinarily, at the cellular level.

As I remembered this lab experience today,  I’m not only reminded of how powerful the creator is, but have come to appreciate the extent/scope/reach of His vision. No wonder He is capable of seeing all the secret things we do. They are not hidden from Him and what is more, He’ll require answers from us.

So maybe before you do that thing in secret you may first want to consider what you’d say to defend yourself when He asks you later, because He surely will.
In all his wisdom Solomon figured this out rather later and so would say, the whole conclusion of the matter is to fear God and keep his commandments.

Man (you and I) have one duty, all others are intended to garnish that one duty, and not vice versa. So what will you say in defense of your actions when your life is brought under the microscope/radar?

Have a blessed Friday.
