VINES REPLANTED – Fri, Aug 07, 2015

Psalm 80:8-9 KJV
Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

[9] Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

If God did nothing at all for Israel, we all know that He delivered them out of bondage and made them a freed people. Asaph the Psalmist, puts this in a nice way in Ps 80.

I believe this appeals most to those who have found themselves in such uncomfortable positions in life in the past. Maybe some sickness plagued you so much or poverty took such a bad toll on you that it reshaped your future career.

I listened to one Man of God who so badly wanted to be a medical doctor, but poverty robbed him of that though he was a bright student. He uses his ministry now to reach out to deprived communities and provide them with healthcare.

God is an expert in bringing out the vine (isolation) and causing it to take root… deep root, in another land. See v9. If you have experienced this, then you need to make an impact in this new land of yours and delete the sour memories of  your past.

Have a blessed Friday.
