Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

The feeling of forgiveness is a tricky one sometimes.  Have u ever been in a position where you have confessed your sins but still feel you have not totally been forgiven?

Or have you felt like praying for the forgiveness of that son yet again even though you already prayed for its forgiveness a few hours ago? Why do we at times still feel the guilt even when we have probably genuinely confessed them?

In today’s reading, the Psalmist made a very salient emphasis; “…You have covered ALL their sins.”
This was just after stating that God had forgiven His people.

It is important to know that ALL your sins are forgiven if you confess and genuinely are repentant of them. Any attempt to still make you feel guilty comes from the enemy’s camp and we need to develop an attitude of living above that agenda of his. This doesn’t come easy, you may need to work this out yourself and with the help of His Spirit.
