Psalm 77:6 KJV
I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Whoever wrote Psalm 77, Asaph my Bible tells me, was really in anguish at the time. Questions like ”Is God’s Mercy ceased?” or ” has God forgotten to be gracious?” filled his thoughts.

He/she was so plagued with many troubles that even sleep eluded him/her. Now those might really be trying times. Your case may not be that troubling or might even be worse.

But one thing the Psalmist kept repeating to him/herself after each memory of pain is… ”I will remember…”
He would not forget the Hand of the Lord!!!

One of the key reasons you and I have a mind is to help us remember. We need to make the effort to remember the good times when the bad times come. Meditating on the bad days only make us feel worse and weaken our faith in the Lord.
So when all is not well, which time will surely come, just REMEMBER…
