Psalm 70:5 KJV
But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord , make no tarrying.
Have u ever heard anyone say God is too slow? I bet you have and not just once but severally. I have heard too many times, too many people complain of how slow God can be in responding to them in their time of need.
This is not to say, I personally haven’t felt that experienced. In fact, a lot of times I had preferred God intervened much quicker than He did in a situation. Such a thought never made anyone anti-God, carnal or less spiritual.
Thrice in this Psalm, David petitions God to act with some speed on his behalf.
Indeed, God works in His own time as many of us are aware, but even in that He expects us to learn and develop one powerful character… PATIENCE.
I know how awkward such a suggestion sounds to someone in dire need of INSTANT help, but I have come to learn that God’s timing is most opportune.
When God seems to delay, just trust that it is in your interest, because His expertise in ‘Perfect Timing’ is just phenomenal and unmatched.
Hold on just a while, help is on the way.
Have a blessed day.
