TRUST ISSUES – Sat, Jul 18, 2015

Psalm 60:11 KJV
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

I’ve always found this verse and it’s analogues a bit interesting, and I know most people have misquoted them a number of times. The ESV Bible puts it this way: “…for vain is the salvation of man”

Indeed, man’s help is vain but tell me, how does God help us oft times? Isn’t it through the same man?
The bible says ‘cursed is the man who trusts his fellow man.’ These, among many others, if not put into perspective could always be misinterpreted.

Indeed God does not expect us to put our hope of survival and existence on any other man, more especially our salvation, but He sure needs us to trust and depend on each other for the growth and progress of the church. This kind of trust is based on love and it is godly.

We may not be God to carry the burden of Trust He alone bears, but in love, we can create an atmosphere of trust that can HELP a brother grow and be strong in the Lord.

Have a blessed long weekend.
