WHO DO YOU HAVE? – Tue, Apr 14, 2015

Job 4:3-5 KJV
Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

[4] Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

[5] But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

One of Job’s friends, Eliphaz by name, decided to speak and a few of his words caught my attention. See v3 – 5.

Apparently, Job had consoled many people in their darkest moments and helped others in their weakest moments. He had appeared a tough guy to many people who sought advice and help from him.

Let’s fast forward to Jesus on the cross. People asked him to save himself, having witnessed Him heal many people and even bring back the dead. It is a bit disturbing to see people who appear to the epitome of solace, need help themselves.

But a believer, in my opinion, needs to always be in a position to receive help from others when the need be. Irrespective of your clouts, you may still need help someday.
Job had his three friends, Moses had Jethro, Paul had Lydia and co.
Who do you have?

Have a blessed day.
