WORTHY OFFICERS – Wed, Jan 28, 2015

1 Chronicles 24:30 KJVworthy officers
The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.

The Levites were not priests themselves. In fact, only the sons of Aaron, the brother of Moses, were bestowed this privilege.

Yet the Levites played very key role in the day to day worship. In fact they were: those who looked after the work of the house of God, officers, judges, gatekeepers and those who played instruments.

The priests on the hand  burnt the sacrifices and offered up incenses, and above all went into the holy chambers. Their role was a more precise and delicate one. Yet they never looked down on the Levites, because their partnership ensured a successful celebration each time.

You may not be a key or lead figure in your church or your office. Probably, someone who works behind the scenes. Your true worth can be manifested only when you begin to see and appreciate the substance of what you do without prejudice.
Keep being what you are made to be.

Have a blessed day.
