1 Chronicles 2:34-35 KJV
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
[35] And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
The first few chapters of 1 Chronicles may seem boring and does not make interesting reading, predominantly geneology!
I read in verses 31-35 that some of the characters had no sons. One such a person was Sheshan, see 34&35.
Sheshan could have ‘disturbed’ God with constant prayers about his situation.
Instead, he found a way around the problem because he realized there were others who died without children at all. See 31-33.
His case was much better than others!
Accepting a situation doesn’t necessarily open the door for mediocrity as some might put it.
If we can find a godly way around each seemingly negative situation, then we are definitely exemplifying our Saviour.
Pray to God for wisdom to circumvent those challenges not just for Him to take them away.
Have a blessed day.
