And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the Lord : the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was ,

King Solomon was very careful to use very expensive materials for the vessels of the temple, i.e. bright bronze or pure gold.

He understood what vessels meant to God. They just had to be made of more! The censers, the altar, even the door hinges were made of pure gold. Now you can imagine how expensive that should make the temple. Magnificent was one word that came close to describing it, all because of the quality of its vessels.

You are God’s vessels and God expects you to be equally made of more. You should bring significance and magnificence to God when others see and interact with you, not shame and disappointment.

Refrain from corrupting yourselves, because you are not made of ordinary stuff, you are within the ranks of gold, silver and bronze.
You are simply made of more!
