1 Kings 3:27-28 KJV
Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
[28] And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.
Sometimes, I really wish I could jump back into time to witness some of these bible stories just like it happens with “Super Book.”
I wish I knew what was going on in King Solomon’s head when the two women were telling their sides of the story.
But Wisdom (God) won at the end of the day. Solomon was far too discerning than the wicked woman could imagine. See verse 12
The Spirit of discernment is still available in our time and God gives it freely through the power of the Holy Ghost. Unfortunately, you and I desire less of this gift and often choose to be guided by our own senses.
The ability to discern made Solomon so wise that all feared him and knew outrightly that God was with him as well. Our expression of such a gift equally glorifies God and makes Him proud.
I pray God gives wisdom and exceeding great understanding to as many of us that desire.
Have a blessed Friday.
