1 Samuel 15:13 KJV
And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the Lord : I have performed the commandment of the Lord.
Isn’t it interesting when we humans sometimes attempt to fool God by using pretense or disguise?
In Saul’s case, upon seeing Samuel, he blessed God and spoke good of his own deeds. But Samuel & God wouldn’t have any of that.
Obeying God’s promptings, direction or commands means the world to HIM. We may get our way with our actions no matter how disguised they may seem. That doesn’t mean we fooled HIM, not at all.
It is imperative for us and behoves on us as worthy servants to acknowledge our guilt, but it is more important to HIM for us play by the rules.
Indeed Obedience is better than any sacrifice and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is an idolatry.
Let’s obey
Have a blessed weekend.
