A young man called Bobo once told me that “All it takes for evil to thrive is for good people like you and I to sit and do nothing.”
The word of God had come to Eli severl times via different people about his son’s misconduct.

Yet Eli took no action. Eventually God judged him and entire family. All perished in the same day, even the pregnant wife of Phinehas.
What was worse, the ark of the covenant was captured and Shiloh lost its significance.

What a shame!
All the series of mishaps, which were a result of one man’s inactions, could have been averted if only he did something.

You are equally part of a problem if you fail to speak up and take action against it. God has empowered you to do this so you won’t sick somewhere and point accusing fingers.
When sin abounded on the earth Christ came down to intervene.
